Our School Programs bring learning to life for students of all ages. Our programs combine engaging in-class presentations with hands-on learning. Both our programs in the classroom and on field trips spark curiosity, inspire critical thinking, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world.
Whether exploring our center, observing wildlife out on trail, or getting their hands on a design challenge, students leave with meaningful experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.

We do our best to respond to requests within 3 business days. Once we’ve received your request, we will work with you to schedule and plan your program based on your needs!

Classroom programs are typically about an hour in length, but can be tailored to your time limits.
K-2nd grade programs are usually 30-45min.
Field trips vary based on location, ranging from 1 hour to the whole day.

Classroom presentations:
$240 - 45 minute to 1 hour program
Field trips:
$240 - 1 hour program
$275 - 90 minute program
$310 - 2 hour program
$345 - 4 hour program
All costs are per program and per class.
Some programs are generously supported by our partners, allowing us to offer discounts based on need. If there’s a financial barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help! Pricing for other durations or different events will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Our hands on, interactive teaching style works best with smaller group numbers. Therefore we typically restrict our programs to a single class (30 students max).
However, there may be multiple educators available in a given day to extend our programming to multiple classes at once.
Additionally, we are sometimes able to partner with other organizations to run larger field trips and school visits.

Yes! We will work with you to adapt our programming to meet students needs- based on age, background, cultural sensitives, or desired learning outcomes.
We sometimes teach multiple programs in a progression, or combine elements from multiple programs.

Our programming and field trips can be adapted to fit summer camps! We can host programs at the Willow Bend Center or at the summer camp’s host site.
We do not host our own summer camp.
