Meet Willow Bend’s staff
Sapna Sopori, Director
Sapna has 10 years of teaching experience in environmental education centers and holds a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution and a M.A. in Environmental Education. She loves working at Willow Bend and strives to increase environmental education outreach in Flagstaff.
Cassandra Roberts, Program Manager
Cassandra has been a teaching volunteer with Willow Bend since 2009 and has elementary teaching experience in New Zealand and Japan. Cassandra started as fulltime staff in 2011 after completing her M.A. in Experiential Education.
Lauren Ritchey, AmeriCorps Outreach and Development Assistant
Lauren received a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Penn State University. She is excited to be living in Flagstaff and is looking forward to promoting Willow Bend and its message of environmental awareness throughout the community.
Abby Davidson, AmeriCorps Instructor
Abby received her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to serving as an instructor for Willow Bend, Abby is a Doctoral student studying Sustainability Education at Prescott College. Abby is looking forward to serving the Flagstaff community through instruction of diverse and engaging environmental education curricula.
Andy Gould, Volunteer Teacher
Andy is a retired teacher from Flagstaff with many years of experience volunteer teaching in a variety of nature centers around the country. He leads school field trips to Willow Bend in the fall and spring.
