A look back at the Summer 2009 Willow Bend/USGS Teacher Workshop
Willow Bend and U.S. Geological Survey staff and scientists led an amazing learning opportunity on the Big Island of Hawaii.
This workshop focused on relating Hawaiian geology, ecology, and culture to northern Arizona. Each day presented another outdoor learning opportunity with topics like volcanology, astrogeology, and rainforest ecology. Check back for future teacher training opportunities.
