Scheduling a Field Trip with Willow Bend
Willow Bend now offers field trips at your school!
Choose a spot on school grounds and Willow Bend will send an instructor to turn your schoolyard into an explorable habitat!
Willow Bend field trips are held from September through October and April through May. To ensure the highest quality experience and most effective learning, Willow Bend only works with one class at a time. We charge $5 per student (fee waivers are unavailable for school site field trips; school site field trips are not currently available for out-of-town schools).
Natural Senses (Grades: Elementary; 1 hour)
During this field trip students will learn about nature through their senses. Students will open their senses to perceive colors, shapes, textures, scents, sounds, and more through a hike and various games.
New Ways of Looking (Grades: Elementary; 1 hour)
Through a hike and diverse games and activities, students will interact with nature, open perceptions to how we view nature, and explore the outdoors and our connection to it.
