Our mission is to provide environmental education outreach services that build environmental awareness and an ethic of responsible stewardship of our natural and cultural resources.

	Willow Bend is a non-profit environmental education center sponsored by the Coconino Natural Resource Conservation District. We are dedicated to nurturing a sense of place through hands-on environmental education programs. Come with your family and friends and enjoy our passive solar, straw bale building.
Willow Bend is located at Sawmill Park, part of Coconino County Parks and Recreation. Our gardens are Backyard Wildlife Habitat certified and feature a pond and plants native to the Colorado Plateau. These unique microclimates attract a variety of native wildlife that offer many  "teachable moments"!
	Our Discovery Room is open most Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12noon-4pm, as well as by appointment. It features interactive displays for kids and adults alike!
