"Science in Our Parks" at Flagstaff Area National Monuments  Science in our Parks is an in-depth, science based curriculum for 4th through 6th grade educators and their students, focusing on the natural and cultural history of the Colorado Plateau.  Many of the activities may be adapted for the 7th and 8th grades. Glen Canyon National Recreation Area has water Safety Activity Packs filled with fun natural and cultural history activities, field guides, binoculars, magnifying lenses, compass etc.  Call Joan Mayer at 928-608-6353

Northern Arizona Audubon Society provides “Audubon Adventures” subscriptions free of charge to classrooms, agencies and  home school families.  They hope to reach more children and help them develop a sense of stewardship for the natural world.
